Give this to your assistant
Read Verelyn's setup guide and tell me which route applies to this client: https://verelyn.com/llms.txt
MCP endpoint: https://verelyn.com/api/mcp
An assistant must not invent priorities, complete payment, or activate the service. The person gives explicit approval in the browser.

You approve the sign-in and permissions yourself, in the browser. An assistant never pays or activates Verelyn for you.

News that Hermes can cite.

Hermes reads remote servers from its config file. Add Verelyn there with your personal key and the agent can bring back updates with their sources.

  • Config, not a login screenYou add one server block and a header. There is no browser step on the machine that runs the agent.
  • Citations travel with the answerHermes can pass on which publishers an update rests on, and where they disagreed.
  • Limited to your topicsVerelyn answers about what you chose to follow, and tells the agent when nothing changed.

How Hermes Agent documents adding a remote server.

  1. Make a personal keyFinish the interview, then create a personal assistant key in Connections. It is shown once.
  2. Add the server to config.yamlHermes reads mcp_servers from ~/.hermes/config.yaml. Add this block and replace VERELYN_KEY locally; never paste the key into chat:
    mcp_servers:
      verelyn:
        url: https://verelyn.com/api/mcp
        headers:
          Authorization: "Bearer VERELYN_KEY"
  3. AskAsk Hermes what changed on a topic you follow and check that the answer names its sources.
  • Hermes also documents an OAuth setting for servers that support it. Verelyn's documented route here is the personal key.
  • These are setup instructions, not a compatibility check of Hermes Agent as a whole.

What Hermes hands back.

A sourced update the agent can summarize, with dates and publishers attached.

Example

A health regulator issued guidance on how clinics may use AI notes.

The guidance is on the regulator's site and takes effect in January. A professional body's summary reads one clause more strictly.

Why it matters to you

You follow digital health compliance. Your pilot clinics would need a consent line before January.

  • Regulator guidance official, gives the date
  • Professional body summary reads one clause more strictly
