An assistant must not invent priorities, complete payment, or activate the service. The person gives explicit approval in the browser.

You approve the sign-in and permissions yourself, in the browser. An assistant never pays or activates Verelyn for you.

A Bot that starts with no access.

xAI says a Bot has no access by default and acts only with accounts you sign it into. Verelyn arrives the same way: through a connection you approve.

  • You decide what it knowsA Bot gets only what you give it. Adding Verelyn is one deliberate step, approved in your browser.
  • Your team's policy appliesxAI says a Bot inherits your team's Cursor connector policy, so an admin can allow or block a connector.
  • Sources on every answerIf a connection works, each update names its publishers and shows where they differ.

Give your Bot Verelyn in three steps.

xAI says connectors appear as plugins in the app and that a Bot uses your team's Cursor connector list. It does not document pasting a server URL into Grok Bot, so the way in is the setup text, pasted into a Bot task, followed by your approval in the browser.

  1. Check your planxAI lists an eligible Cursor plan, or a SuperGrok subscription linked to your Cursor account, and the desktop app for macOS, Windows or Linux.
  2. Set your topicsComplete the short interview on the web, since a Bot needs topics to ask about.
  3. Give your Bot the setup textPaste the block into a Bot task and ask it to try it. You approve on verelyn.com. If your Bot stalls, use email.
  • xAI lists every paid individual Cursor plan or the Cursor Teams plan, or an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus or SuperGrok Heavy subscription linked to a Cursor account.
  • xAI says the connector allowlist is Enterprise only, and that a team's MCP policy applies in full.

What a Bot could hand back.

A sourced item the Bot can use in the task it is doing.

Example

A retail chain closed two distribution centers and moved orders to a third.

The chain's filing gives the closing quarter. A local paper reports the third site has not yet hired its full shift.

Why it matters to you

You follow consumer-goods suppliers. Slower fulfillment could delay your next shipment to that chain.

  • Company filing official, gives the quarter
  • Local newspaper reports the hiring gap
